Joy

Level 3 – Joy

This one is movement and colour without restraint. I painted it fast and instinctively. Joy, for me, is layered, expressive, and alive. The turquoise base keeps it buoyant, while the flashes of magenta, coral, yellow and gold bring spark and lift. There’s no single focal point because joy doesn’t sit still. The textures overlap and interrupt each other, but nothing feels heavy. The gold catches in fragments across the surface like little bursts of light.
